This stunning chopping board is handcrafted from walnut and hard maple.  Truly a centerpiece to your kitchen!  The advantage of end grain, beyond looking good?  It keeps your knives sharp for longer as it doesn't dull the edge.  The boards are also very long-lasting, as the wood can self-heal.  Maple and walnut have natural antibacterial properties as their fine grain draws fluids downwards, trapping and eliminating bacteria as the board dries.  We do recommend wiping all sides down with water and mild dish detergent after use to be on the safe side, though!
